With the »pomBasic« and the »pomBasicMicro« we are able to select the right camera for each tool area, the devices differ only in the camera technology.
Are the devices user-friendly?
Thanks to the individual personalization of the user interface (layout), operation is very simple, fast and efficient.
Do the cameras have a digital zoom function?
Yes, both camera variants have a digital zoom function.
Is there software for measuring wear on tools?
Yes, there are various measurement functions for wear measurements. These measurements can be made in the µm range and the logs can be created in the tool view and as a result.
Can the tools also be quickly inspected visually?
Yes, with the digital background function, visual inspection is possible very quickly for all operators.
Can an automatic measuring sequence be created?
Yes, thanks to the camera's macro function, the measurement sequence is recorded once and can be called up as often as required for repeat measurements.
Can DXF comparisons be carried out on both device variants?
Yes, all tools can be compared with the nominal/actual contour using the DXF function and the deviations are output in the inspection report.
Are there options for quick illumination settings for incident light and transmitted light?
There is an automatic illumination setting for incident light before each measurement. In addition, the illumination setting for incident light and transmitted light can be saved individually in the respective tool ID and called up again.
When do I need a standard camera (»pomBasic«) or a micro camera (»pomBasicMicro«)?
Ideally, the diameter range for the »pomBasic« starts from 0.118" (3 mm) and for the »pomBasicMicro«, the diameter range starts from 0.008" (0.2 mm) increasing.
Can larger tool diameters also be measured with the »pomBasicMicro«?
Yes, the axis travel paths of the axes for X and Y are the same for both device variants, so larger diameters can also be measured with the »pomBasicMicro«.
Does ZOLLER offer tool holders for the »pomBasic« and the »pomBasicMicro«?
A large number of tool holders are available for a wide range of tool areas.
Can the customer also obtain individual measuring functions?
ZOLLER is continuously expanding the measuring functions of the »pomSoft« software for process-oriented measuring. Customer-specific solutions can be integrated into these measuring functions.
Are there offers for maintenance or service for the »pomBasic« and the »pomBasicMicro«?
Yes, there are individual options within the scope of ISO certification, for full-service maintenance, standard quality control, quality control and maintenance.
