Shrinking Tools

The heat shrink technology in the »powerShrink« series is equipped with highly efficient heating and cooling technologies. They shrink tools in and out in record time.

The heat shrink technology »redomatic« offers all the proven advantages of a ZOLLER presetting and measuring machine in addition to shrinking technology. This allows you to shrink tools to length with µm precision.

If you want to achieve the highest production quality on components and protect the spindles of CNC machines, it is essential to balance rotating tools before use.

»coraMeasure LG« measures tools automatically using a robot and an intelligent pallet system for the delivery of the tools to be measured.

Thanks to this new system concept from ZOLLER, the »coraMeasure LG« can be seamlessly integrated into an existing ZOLLER presetting machine installation.

Error-Free Transfer of Tool Data

»zidCode« uniquely identifies complete tools, grinding wheels and grinding wheel packs by scanning and automatically transfers the actual data to the machine tool control.

 »zidCode 4.0« offers even more performance. This IoT platform transfers tool data bi-directionally between the z.One database and the CNC machine.For example, updated tool life data can be stored in the z.One database after the production run.

Modular Automation

ZOLLER reduces manual tool-related processes through modular automation. Tool preparation, including assembly, tool presetting, measuring, shrinking and dispensing can be automated with the »roboBox«.

The module »loadBox« picks tools, »coraLogistic« guides with »coraExpress«, »coraTransporter« or »smartPallet« the logistics on the shop floor. The module »coraMove« loads the tools into the machine's magazine.
